Social:
Social means relating to, devoted to, or characterized by friendly companionship or relations: it means seeking or enjoying the companionship of others; In particular, through interactions among a diversity of individuals of all abilities in small, medium, and large groups for social and community purposes. (google). To this end, the Sawa social and cultural group is also a support system to its active members through our solidarity in cash and or in-kind during life events.
Cultural:
Culture is defined as the “ideas, customs, and social behaviors of a particular people or society”. In a workplace setting, it covers how people communicate, dress, arrive at work late or on time, collaborate, and generate ideas. To be more accurate, Culture is the characteristics and knowledge of a particular group of people, encompassing language, religion, cuisine, social habits, music, and much more. (Google). The Sawa social and cultural association will endeavor to embody some, if not all of the characteristics mentioned above.
